Africa World Airlines

Africa World has been issued with Air Carrier License (ACL) number 222 and Air Operator Certificate (AOC) number 030 by the Ghana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) and commenced flight operations on 21st September 2012 with all-jet services from Accra to Kumasi and Tamale using Embraer ERJ-145 aircraft. Africa World has been allocated the 3-letter code “AFW” by the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) and 2-letter code “AW” by the International Air Transport Association (IATA).
