The school was established in 1979. Initially, the School was to train basically Agriculture based students to meet the demands of the area at the time. Shortly after, in 1994, with the introduction of the Science Resource Centres, the trend changed as the School became one of the Science Resource Centres
To provide relevant and quality education to all students irrespective of their various backgrounds and to make the individual useful to him/herself and the society at large.
