Bomaa Senior High School is sited at Bomaa in the Tano North District of Brong Ahafo Region. The school is located at the South ‐ Western part of the Region. It is about 51km from the Regional Capital 15km from the District Capital and 1 km north of the town center.
Bomaa Secondary School was officially opened on Tuesday, 20th December, 1983. The school began with a total of seventeen (17) students of which twelve (12) were boys and five (5) were girls. The School was established as a private school in 1983 by one Hon. Kyei Badu with six other opinion leaders in Bomaa. In 1992, Bomaa Senior High School was approved by the government to be upgraded to a public school.
