Funsi SHS was established on 12th January, 2014. Funsi senior high school is the only senior high school in the Wa- East District of the upper west region of Ghana, and is situated 120kms north-east of the regional capital Wa.

Vision
To produce graduands who are properly groomed for higher education.

Mission
The school aspires to be a citadel of knowledge and aims at shaping the lives of young men and women into becoming better statesmen and women by self-motivated staff in an atmosphere of unity of purpose. Our watchwords are: discipline, hard work, perseverance and team work.
