Mission Statement

The Ga North Municipal Health Directorate (GNMHD) exists to protect and improve the health of all people living in the Ga North Municipality.

Vision

GNMHD’s vision is to be a centre of excellence that ensures equity in access to health care in the municipality. We desire that all people in the municipality have what they need to be healthy by effectively engaging all communities to be responsive towards their health needs. 

Philosophy

We affirm that health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Being a fundamental human right and responsibility, we believe that health care services must be available to all people accessing health care in any health facility in the Ga North Municipality irrespective of their colour, creed, economic, social or political background.
