Garu Community Day Senior High is one of the “excellent” schools (E- schools) constructed as part of the secondary education improvement project in Ghana is sponsored by the World Bank. The school became operational during the 2018 / 2019 academic year.

Vision
A peaceful and conducive institution where high academic skills/knowledge, sound moral integrity training, and dedication of the youth are developed to prepare them for tertiary education to feed the job market.

Mission
To provide quality and relevant secondary education to all students irrespective of ethnicity, religion or gender to enable them to acquire functional skills and training, that will assist them to develop the potential for further education in tertiary institutions and careers.
