Koase, a farming settlement where the school is situated is located in the Wenchi Municipality of the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. Koase Senior High Technical School was established on 28th January, 1991. It is 5km off the Wenchi-Techiman road to be precise. The student population is drawn from all the regions in the country.
