Mampong/Akw Snr. High/Tech for the Deaf
The late George Coffie, a deaf student of the Christian Methodist Secondary School in Accra between the years 1968-1972 had a lot of problems coping with the hearing students. So when he got the opportunity one day to meet the then Head of State, Gen. I. K. Acheampong he discussed the issue with him.
