Prestea Senior High Technical School was established in the 1990/1991 academic year. At that time it was called Prestea Senior Secondary Technical School. It was opened on the 28th of January 1991. Prestea Senior High Technical was established to serve the educational needs of students in neighboring villages. The school is located in Prestea in the Huni Valley District.

To develop well-disciplined, responsible, and versatile students who will be willing to take rightful places in society.

Mission
Prestea Senior High Technical School exists to provide quality high school and technical education that would prepare its students for tertiary education and the world of work.
