The school is located in Sefwi Ahwiam near Sefwi Wiawso. The motto of the school is “MATE MASIE” which means in Sefwi language means “I hear and I Keep” The school has always strive for academic excellence and this has been its hallmark since its establishment in 1961 by Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. The school has produced notable personalities such as the Asantehene Osei Tutu II. The school has a nice architectural design and serene environment that makes it suitable for academic work.
