Takoradi Senior High School is a day co-educational second cycle institution in the western region. It was founded in September 1958 by the late Mr. J.E. Eyeson and was originally known as Regional Secondary School. The school was first housed in a private building owned by Mr. Mustapha Mubarack at the junction of Liberation Road.
