Tema High School

Tema Senior High School is a mixed school established and commissioned on 22nd September, 1961, by Ghana’s first president, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. It was one of the schools the first President built in the 1960s under the Accelerated Development Plan aimed at expanding educational programme. The school is located at Tema community five. It is about 200 metres from the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) hall. The students’ population stands at one thousand, nine hundred and thirty four (1934) with staff population of one hundred and sixty-nine (169).
