Tolon Senior High School (TOSS) was established in 1991 by the Government as a community school. The school started with the objective of bring education closer to the people of the community and beyond. The school located in the Northern Region, specifically Tolon, the district capital, 24km west of Tamale on the Tamale – Daboya Trunk Road. The school’s motto is “Honesty, Hard work and Obedience”.

Vision

To make Tolon Senior High School one of choice for motivation, discipline and good academic performance to enable the students to progress as balanced individuals with the requisite knowledge, skills and attitudes that would make them socially, economically and morally functional and therefore assets for self and national development and democratic advancement in a competitive world through team work of all stakeholders.

Mission

The mission of the Ministry of Education is to provide relevant education to all Ghanaians at all levels to enable them to acquire skills that will assist them to develop their potentials, to be productive, to facilitate poverty reduction and to promote socio-economic growth and national development.
