The school was established in 2009 as a community day school and absorbed into the public system in 2010. It later gained boarding status in December 2016.

Vision
To maintain high educational standards in academic, cultural, spiritual and sporting activities stimulating excitement in learning and acquiring discipline.

Mission
To produce knowledgeable students well equipped with investigative, creative and decision-making skills to enable them enhance their abilities and capabilities for the world of work, their communities, Ghana in particular and the world at large.
