Alavanyo SHS

The school is a government-assisted school funded in 1987. It is located on a leveled ground 30meters from the foot of the highest peak in Ghana called Mt. Afadja in the Volta Region. It is the only school serving the Gbledi, Fodome, Wli and Liati traditional areas.

Vision
To promote secondary education in the locality and create an enabling and peaceful environment conducive to good academic work (teaching and learning) and also expand the infrastructural facilities of the institution in other to promote participation in education and training of the youth.

Mission
To provide relevant education to all Ghanaians at all levels to enable them acquire skills as they develop and also make them employable and by so doing reduce unemployment. To increase access to, and participation in education and reduce poverty and increase productivity.
