Sokode Senior High Technical School is a Government Assisted School Code Institution under the Ghana Education Service. The idea to establish a Community Senior Secondary School has long been conceived by the chiefs and people of the Sokode Traditional area. However, through the frantic efforts by a group of prominent citizens and the local chiefs, birth was given to this vision in 1996.On 26th February 1996, the Sokode Secondary Technical School was officially inaugurated. Twenty eight (28) students – Seventeen (17) boys and eleven (11) girls were enrolled to pursue courses in Technical Education and Business Accounting Option.

Vision
With the collaboration of all stakeholders, our vision is to see the school become a place where real practical and technical education is given to the youths and indeed to be the first-choice technical institution for both students and parents.

Mission
To bring quality and affordable Education to the doorsteps of Sokode and surrounding communities and thereby becoming a strong team player in academic excellence in Ghana.
