Takpo Senior High School is located in Takpo in the Nadowli-Kaleo District of the Upper West Region. It started in January, 2011 as a private Community Day Senior High School to serve Takpo and its surrounding communities. It was later absorbed by Government in June, 2013 to improve on teaching and learning. The school operates in an Old JHS 6-unit classroom block. It has a student population of 175. Management of the school has acquired a 50acre land waiting for infrastructure to be built for the school to move there. The school is highly deprived of infrastructure, means of transport and water system.

To become a world class second cycle institution that produces graduates with exceptional leadership and innovative abilities to meet the ever changing and increasing human resource needs of our dear Ghana and the world at large.

Mission
To provide holistic and quality secondary education aimed at developing the nation’s youth by equipping students with tools and skills that will help them develop their individual talents and potentials in a school environment that imparts sound psychological balance and respect for socio-cultural imperatives.
